Zacco Palace

The Palace was built for Melfi of S’Antonio and later bought by the Zacco family. It is one of the many examples of the noble Baroque architecture in the area of Ragusa. It is located at the crossing between Via San Vito and Corso Vittorio Veneto and has two symmetrical facades, both featuring three balconies. The main door is located at Via San Vito and is framed by two columns with Corinthian capitals, with the central balcony above. The other balconies are supported by typically baroque corbels with grotesque masks, carved in the stone.

Accessibility
The main entrance is not accessible, but a secondary entrance leading to the upper floor allows the access to visitors in wheelchair or with reduced mobility. The visit inside is easy. The site has a parking area for disabled at Corso Italia.
