Chocolate Museum

The Modica Chocolate is unique: it’s not dark or milk or white chocolate, it is simply Modica chocolate. To celebrate this amazing product in Modica, in Aprile 2014, Chocolate Museum was inaugurated. It is located in the Palace of Culture (Corso Umberto I, 14), where we can admire 22 chocolate statues and, in the hall, a particular geographical plant of Italy , with chocolate statues of the most important monuments of the country.
The museum opens every day, from 10.00 a.m. to 8 p.m. and the ticket price is 2,50€ (reduced-price 2€).
INFO: Near the entrance, there is a parking with four places reserved for disabled people. At the entrance there are obstacles, particularly a flight of stairs, and there is no accessible alternative one. The visit is guided by the presence of tactile maps, brochures, printed in large print and Braille. The Museum has two accessible toilets.
