Museum Emilio Greco And Bellini Museum

Founded in honor of the musician and composer Vincenzo Bellini, the Bellini museum offers a chronological journey through the artist’s life, thanks to original scores, musical instruments and other relics.
The Museum Emilio Greco was inaugurated in the 90s and offers more than 150 authentic works, with lithographs and etchings.
The premises of both museums are based at the palace Gravina Cruyllas, that belonged to one of the most important families of Catania in the seventeenth century; the palace was also the house where Bellini was born and lived his adolescence.
The museum is open daily: from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. from Monday to Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sundays and public holidays. The museum is closed only on the 1st of May. The ticket price is 5€ (reduced-price 2€). Online reservations are available.
INFO: The entrance is inaccessible to visitors in wheelchairs or with reduced mobility. However, the visit is facilitated thanks to a priority queue for visitors with special needs and the presence of rest stops along the tour route. There are six accessible toilets.
