The old town of Trecastagni (586 m asl) goes from south to north along the route of Via Vittorio Emanuele and Corso Sicilia. The “rise of Saponari” is the location of a dangerous horse race during the feast of the small town; an amazing staircase leads to the Mother Church, that is a three-nave basilica with black stone columns, arches and white picturesque walls.
