Noto

The Beach of Vendicari in Noto is located within the natural oasis of Vendicari, overlooked by a Swabian tower and the ruins of a beautiful tuna fishing building. It is a beautiful beach with a long white sand- coastline, bordered by dense Mediterranean vegetation. The whole coastline is well preserved thanks to the environment protection actions and the beach is among the most famous and beautiful, for nature and landscape. The sea is clear blue and transparent, with a bottom that slopes gently toward the sea. The beach can be reached through the road that joins Noto and Pachino: once you reach the Oasis of Vendicari, which is well signaled, a wooden walkway leads directly to the sea.

Cala Mosche in Noto, known as Funni Musca, is located between Noto and Vendicari and can be reached only by land, since the access from the sea is forbidden to all boats. It is an amazing soft sandy beach, wide and long more than 200 mt, with crystal clear blue water. The bay is surrounded by two rocks, with fascinating caves and clefts; behind it, beyond the small dunes and the peculiar scrub which fringe it, there is a quagmire often frequented by migratory birds.
